Yes ladies and gentlemen! Mob Agents In Disguise! Sim Simpson here  bringing you up to the minute coverage from the court house in Riverview.

The shocking rumors of corruption, blackmail and deceit that have rocked Riverview and Sunset Valley for the past six months will now have their day in court. Police and prosecutors in both cities have been working around the clock, building cases against hundreds of service professionals accused of crimes ranging from theft and blackmail to arson, assault and attempted murder. Over the past few months we have been shocked to learn how far this epidemic of villainy has spread, touching almost every aspect of the service sector. Although some have fled and are now considered fugitives, many have been arrested.

Even cab and delivery drivers have come under suspicion.

No one was surprised to learn that all of those businesses are owned by the Alto family of Sunset Valley. Long suspected of criminal ties, the Alto family has so far managed to avoid any charges. However many in the crowd hope that this  will change today thanks to a special witness for the prosecution.

Exterminate the Altos!

Unfortunately, no one knows who this witness is. Our sources indicate that he or she is a citizen of Riverview and  perhaps a highly-placed member of the Alto gang. This mystery person apparently provided police with enough hard evidence that they were able to raid several Alto businesses and obtain even more solid evidence for the case. Of course we are all curious to learn the identity of the witness but both the court and the records are sealed as he or she has been placed in the Witness Protection Program. Stay with channel 4 all day as we continue our 24 hour coverage.

"Who do you think the secret witness is?"

The M.A.I.D case was driving me nuts. Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week for almost an entire year, we heard and saw nothing else. It made me sick to my stomach but I couldn’t look away. At last hard proof of the Alto’s despicable criminal practices. I thought about Grandpa George and Aunt Babs’ legacy of pain and suffering. So I sat and watched, hoping that their spirits would be at peace. I sat, clutching a tear-stained scrap of paper with three words scrawled on it, “For My Family” while one more loved one sacrificed himself for the Nouvel Legacy.

August and I returned from the hospital without our daughter. She was born almost two months early and needed to remain in the NICU for a while. The doctors were confident that she would be fine with a little extra care. I hated having to leave her but August and I needed to have a discussion and the hospital was not the place for it.

“Do you have any idea how embarassed and humiliated I was to see the maid grabbing all over you during our son’s birthday? You were so emphatic about getting married and having a committed relationship and here you were playing hanky-panky with the maid. I don’t get it. Why did you even want to marry me?”

“Clem I can explain. I’ve wanted to be with you since we were in junior high. I still want to be with you. I didn’t mean for things to go so far with Nicole but I couldn’t help it. I had no choice. After my dad..”

“No choice? You had no choice except to let the maid, oh I’m sorry Nicole, play grabass in front of your fiance and child?”

“I swear I had no idea she was going to act like that, but that woman is insane. And she’s dangerous.”

“She’s dangerous? You lied to me and broke my heart but she’s dangerous. I only have one more thing to say. It’s over. Get out.”

I ignored all of August’s arguments and protestations of love. Love? What could that jerk know about love? He found some quick easy sex and thought he could have that and me too.

“I don’t know Con. Do you think I was too hard on him? I just can’t even understand how he could truly want to be with me and mess around with that maid.”

“Sis, you’ve always had a problem trusting men so I can understand how his betrayal hit you so hard. The thing that’s bugging me though is the maids. It seems like one of them has been around at all the wrong times. It’s really odd.”

I sat and thought about Con’s statement. He was right. There was that maid that Danial hooked up with at Dom’s party, the cake fire and now the fiance fiasco. And the more I thought about it the weirder it seemed. All the maids  kind of look the same. Small differences in coloring maybe but their features were practically identical.

How bizarre.
